Matt LaPorta plays left field in the Cleveland Indians organization. In 2007, he was drafted 7th overall by the Milwaukee Brewers. Matt began the 2007 season hitting .259 through seven games. On August 21, LaPorta connected with two homeruns and recorded four RBIs against Lexington. In 2008, Matt LaPorta was selected to play in the MLB Futures Game at Yankee Stadium.
